Thank You 2018!
What a year it has been! It’s feels like not too long ago that I was writing a blog post welcoming us all to 2018, and now here we are about to say goodbye. The year was met with some hardships and turmoil across our country, and a great deal of change in the healthcare industry. Through it all, we were able to continue living out our purpose of helping people get back to what they need and love to do better than any other place in the world.
We have all accomplished so much that we should be proud of, but we also have so much more to do. We introduced the new Strategic Roadmap to 2025 to help us continue on our journey to ‘better’ and support our mission and goals.
I introduced the Roadmap here through a series of blog posts, but there is still more I would like to share with you. Please be on the lookout for a mailing of the new Roadmap to 2025, along with an overview of each section, to your homes in early January. I encourage you to read it, share it and incorporate what you learn into your role at HSS. When we all serve as leaders we can accomplish extraordinary things!
With the end of 2018, we are closing another successful chapter in our journey and embarking on a new one that I know will be even better. Thank you for your continued commitment to HSS and our HSS family. I wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season and a Happy New Year. Please take some time to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends.
